As our AP/Payroll Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in our financial operations by:
Managing and updating records of expenditures and payroll information.
Processing and entering invoices, ensuring accurate matching with purchase orders and receipts.
Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any payment discrepancies.
Processing payroll accurately and on time, including managing deductions and reimbursements.
Generating and sending customer invoices, applying payments, and reconciling accounts receivable.
Preparing comprehensive financial reports related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Maintaining accurate and confidential financial records and account transactions, even as processes evolve.
Contributing to the development and improvement of financial processes as we continue to grow and mature as a company.
We're looking for someone with:
Proven experience in an Accounts Payable, Payroll, or similar finance role.
Proficiency in accounting software (experience with [mention specific software if applicable, e.g., QuickBooks, SAP] is a plus) and MS Office, especially Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving work environment where processes are still being established.
A proactive and adaptable mindset, eager to contribute to process improvements.
Comfort working in a "start-up" like atmosphere where flexibility and problem-solving are key.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, located in our Lancaster office.
